The Team of the Technische Universität München, consisting of PhD Students from the Chairs of Automotive Technology and Automatic Control, has driven with an average speed of 218 kilometers and won the Indy Autonomous Challenge, a race completely without drivers. Three PhD students from the Chair of Automatic Control, the team leader Alexander Wischnewski, Matthias Rowold and Levent Ögretmen and the students supervised by them as well as the PhD students and students from the Chair of Automotive Technology has developped in the last one and a half year a software architecture which control the car so well.
