Doctoral Workshop at Groningen

The last workshop in the first phase (2022-2025) will take place at the University of Groningen, and is organized by Michele Cucuzzella and Bart Besselink. It is scheduled from Tuesday, 21 to Thursday, 23 October 2025. Participants are also invited to stay until Friday, 24 October 2025 to attend the workshop on the occassion of Arjan van der Schaft's 70th birthday.

Mobility aid for travel to a workshop
Those inscribed PhD students that cross a border to travel to a workshop of the doctoral college are entitled to a lump mobility aid of up to 200 € from the infrastructure means of DFH-UFA funding. This support must be declared in any travel application form or other forms related to travel cost reimbursement from your home institution to strictly avoid any double reimbursement.
Due to the high number of inscribed PhD students, we guarantee that you get at least 100 € for your travel, and up to 200 € depending on the number of requests.
