by the Chair of Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics and the University Library

RDM Benefits (10.5281/zenodo.4905952)

Research Data Management in Engineering Science: This new lecture offers you the ideal start: Why should I deal with this topic? Which tools can I use? What is metadata? What does FAIR data mean? Who can I store, archive and publish research data? Who can I access existing research data and re-use it? How do different subject areas in engineering or extramural research institutes handle their data?

Target group: Students with interest in a career within research and science. Students who deal with research data in their thesis, students with interest in data management. The modul can be recognized with 3 credits in most of engineering study programs. Please contact us for further details: benjamin.farnbacher@tum.de
