Prof. Wall receives highest award from JSCES


Beginning of June Prof. Wolfgang A. Wall received the JSCES Grand Prize 2021. This is the highest award of the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science (JSCES, https://www.jsces.org/e2/) that is only awarded once every year or every other year to a Scientist from all around the world. The award "is given to individuals for his/her outstanding global contributions in the fields of computational engineering and science".

The JSCES is the worldwide largest association in the huge and very active areas of Computational Engineering and Science as well as Computational Mechanics. Its' membership not only stems from the academic world but also from industry from the high-tech and digital sector.

The nice award ceremony took place during the annual meeting of JSCES in Akita, Japan and the award was presented to Prof. Wall by the current president of JSCES, Prof. Daigoro Isobe.
