On Monday July 18th, our graduate student Michael Hertweck has defended his dissertation entitled “Einfluss der Flammenposition auf transversale hochfrequente akustische Moden in zylindrischen Brennkammern” in the oral exam with success. The examination committee consisted of his supervisor, the second examiner Dr. Fabrice Giuliani of Graz University of Technology and the Chairman Prof. Udo Lindemann.
The staff of the Institute of Thermodynamics congratulates our new Dr.-Ing. Michael Hertweck for this achievement and wishes him well in the future. He has already taken a position in industry and is working on the improvement of product development processes in the automotive industry.
With this successful examination, the 5th doctorate at the Institute of Thermodynamics 2016 was completed.
