On December 19, 2023, the first AVBP User's Committee took place at the CERFACS Institute in Toulouse. Users of the AVBP simulation software developed at CERFACS were invited to present their research activities in connection with this program to an expert audience of AVBP developers and users. This was followed by a round table at which the participants discussed possible improvements to the software from the perspective of scientists and users. The Chair of Thermofluid Dynamics was represented at the event by Alexander Eder, who presented the research activities of our group. Due to the good connections and cooperation between the Chair of Thermofluid Dynamics and CERFACS in Toulouse, a lively and fruitful exchange with the developers of AVBP was possible.
