On Friday, 07/22/2016 Denise Ahrens and Michael Kolb invited to their graduation party in the campus pub C2 after they successfully defended their dissertations from a joint project in summer 2015 and spring 2016.
The crowd of former and current employees of the instutute, as well as the families of the graduates was spoiled with Italian specialties and a rich cake buffet, so that despite the difficult situation in Munich that evening a certain celebratory mood arose.
After their time together at the institute, the paths of the two graduates parted. Denise Ahrens went to Rolls Royce in Berlin, whereas Michael Kolb stayed in Munich and joined Knorr Bremse.
