After over a decade, the Chair welcomes back over 200 Alumni, on 21st of July 2023.
Former PhD students and co-workers of Prof. Ulrich Grigull, Prof. Franz Mayinger, Prof. Johannes Straub, Prof. Thomas Sattelmayer and Prof. Wolfgang Polifke as well as current staff attended this big event. A special memorial service for Professor Franz Mayinger, who passed away on 24th of June 2021, was held, where six of his former PhD students shared some fascinating stories about Prof. Mayinger.
With organized talks, laboratory tours and informal chatting, as well as sufficient supplies of drinks and food, the gathering lasted well into the night. Special thanks to Ms. Helga Bassett for organizing the event and many co-workers for their great support to the event.
