The Chair sends its sincere congratulations to Professor Dongsheng Wen for his recent election into the Academia Europaea.
Following the recommendation of the appropriate Academic Section and a peer review by the relevant Class Committee, the Board of trustees of the Academia Europaea have been pleased to confirm Professor Wen’s election. The Academia Europaea was founded in 1988, on the initiative of the UK's Royal Society and other National Academies in Europe. It is a `Not for Profit' Charity registered in the UK, and is the only Academy with individual membership from the Council of Europe states and from other nations across the world. Our members, some 6000 currently, are eminent, individual scientists and scholars, who cover the full range of academic disciplines (see: www.ae-info.org).
