Dr. Alexander Popp was appointed to a four-year term as German representative in the "ECCOMAS Young Investigators Committee". The ECCOMAS YIC consists of one young scientist (under the age of 40) in the field of computational mechanics from each national or regional association in Europe that is affiliated to ECCOMAS.
