Visit to Tsinghua University

Together with Prof. Miranda Schreurs from TUM, the visit is part of TUM delegates to develop and promote collaobration with Tsinghua University. Prof Wen and Dr. Peksen attended the 2026 International Forum on Carbon Neutrality and Energy System Transformation (CNEST). Prof. Wen participated in the Leadership Roundtable disucssion in the Plenary Forum, and the panel discussion in Parallel session III, Digitial and Intelligent Technologies for Energy System, where Dr. Peksen delivered a keynote talk, titled, ‘Mulitphysics in hydorgen technologies for carbon neutrality and energy system transformation’ 

During the visit, the TUM delegate had a meeting with the President of Tsinghua Univeristy, Prof. Luming Li, to disucss the development of ‘TUM-Tsinghua Centre for Global Transitions’ and had extensive talks with colleagues from Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS), International office, University Research Office, and Department of Energy and Power Engineering, and School of Aerospace Engineering, as well as the TUM’s liasion office in China.

Prof. Wen also visited Beihang Univeristy, and attended three PhD viva there.
