Mahmoud Ismail was awarded with the STACOM 2012 (MICCAI 2012) prize for the best paper in the modeling category, entitled "CFD Challenge: Hemodynamic Simulation of a Patient-Specific Aortic Coarctation Model with Adjoint-Based Calibrated Windkessel Elements".
