Dr. Cristobal Bertoglio, former member of LNM, has accepted an offer from the University of Groningen and joined the Computational Mechanics and Numerical Mathematics Group at the Johann Bernoulli Institute of the Faculty of Science and Engineering as an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of Applied Mathematics in July 2017. After his time at LNM, and before he joined the University of Groningen, he was heading an independent Junior Research Group at the Center for Mathematical Modeling in his home country at the Universidad de Chile.
