The "Carolo-Cup" is an international student competition of the Technical University of Braunschweig and takes place annually. The aim of the competition is to develop an autonomous 1:10 scale model vehicle. The challenge of this university competition is to achieve the best possible vehicle guidance in different disciplines (e.g. "Driving without obstacles", "Driving with obstacles and traffic signs" and "Finding a parking space and parking"). The teams must also give a presentation on their overall vehicle concept, which will be evaluated by a jury of industry and science experts.

The competition consists of two training days and the competition day. During this time we optimize our vehicle and also get to know the other teams. The Carolo-Cup leaves a great impression, in particular thanks to the good sportsmanship of the participating teams, who support each other by lending spare parts to a team in need. The great thing about the challenge of the competition is that you can live out your engineering creativity within clear rules. On top of that, the solutions of the teams are unbelievably diverse!
