AER receives 250m CPUh Project on Machine Learning-based Analysis of Reacting Flows in latest Gauss Call

In a first for the chair Nikolaus Adams, Ludger Paehler, and Steffen Schmidt were able to gain approval for their 250 million CPU-hour Gauss supercomputing project named "Bayesian Inference of the Reactive Shock-Bubble Interaction - Probabilistic Programming at Scale." Over the next year they will work together with the supercomputing centre in Stuttgart to deploy and improve upon newest algorithms from probabilistic programming, reinforcement learning and uncertainty quantification to gain a deeper understanding of the hidden dynamics of the reactive shock-bubble interaction.
