Mano Grunwald is a visiting researcher at TU Munich and a master’s student at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization and in the faculty of physics at the Georg-August University Göttingen. He joined Prof. Brunner's group as a bachelor student in 2023. For his bachelor thesis, he conducted hot-wire measurements in the Variable Density Turbulence Tunnel at the MPI-DS to study turbulence in the wake of a wind turbine. For his master thesis, he is developing a Lagrangian particle tracking setup using soap bubbles and using it to visualise tip vortices behind wind turbines. He received his B.S. in physics from the Georg-August-University Göttingen in 2023. He also holds a B.S. in business and engineering from the Technical University of Clausthal.
